Walker, M.D., radiation oncologist and medical director for the Henry Ford Center for Integrative Medicine. I found this in a recent article by the Henry Ford Health Systems staff stating that exercise can lesson some of the side effects of cancer treatment. Among other things it improves blood flow to your heart, improves your immune system and lifts your mood. The article discusses how to start slowly and do things that make you happy.
