MEET LISETTE

Opening her Exercise Therapy and wellness facility in the Charlotte area in 2009, Lisette's primary focus is to use exercise to help prevent and address many health conditions that can otherwise limit her clients' quality of life. Overall, Lisette has over 25 years experience in the Exercise Science industry helping people with a broad spectrum of health and wellness needs.

Lisette followed her passion for health and wellness growing up as a competitive gymnast , then spending over seven years as a head coach of young elite gymnasts, specializing in strength, conditioning and injury prevention, as well as their related mental fitness.

 

She now has a husband and young son who both share her energy and enthusiasm. In her spare time, Lisette is an avid rock climber, kayaker and overall adventurist. Lisette’s passion for health, fitness and fun is a constant inspiration to those around her.

Lisette is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She holds a masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from UNC, Charlotte and a bachelors in Sports Psychology from the University of Washington. As part of her master's degree program she interned at the Charlotte Medical Center in their cardiac and pulmonary rehab program helping many clients reach and surpass their fitness goals. Lisette holds certifications from Exercise is Medicine (EIM) including Autism specialist, Diabetes specialist and Osteoporosis specialist through ACSM.   In the community, Lisette has been on the UNCC Athletics foundation board since 2020.
